Classic hand wound signature pickup designed for Oliver Steele with a medium output and a sweet overall vintage sound. This custom set is scatter wound with 42 AWG poly wire to deliver a warm full bass with a rounded mid range and clear, singing highs. It features Alnico 5 magnets uniquely staggered to provide an even string to string balance by following the radius of the fingerboard. Custom radius available in 7.25”, 9.5” and 12” radius.
Each pickup is 7.8k and 3.6H.
Middle pickup is RW/RP for hum cancelling in position 2 and 4. Fully wax potted to eliminate microphonic feedback. Supplied with mounting screws and tubing.
